"Property is on the South side of Royal Victoria Dock. It should be a ten minute walk to Custom House Elizabeth Line / DLR station but no. To get there you have to use the RVD Footbridge which has broken lifts, 8 flights of stairs up, 8 flights down. If you want to just walk with luggage - don't. "After arriving tired from long plane flights, 3 of us checked into this flat which we rented due to its proximity to ExCel Convention Center. The place was very run down with peeling paint, non locking windows, and sticky kitchen floor. Exhausted we went to bed as sleep is very important to us on business. Host was practically impossible to get hold of, we arrived not knowing if we would be able to access the property - no key safe code provided until after we had actually arrived. Very unclear information about parking availability and the space outside the house was occupied by a vehicle so we couldn't use the advertised 'on site parking' and had to pay for a permit.
