"This is an old hotel in a rural location, the facilities are typical of the age. The bed was clean and comfortable, the room bigger than usual and wonderfully quiet. We enjoyed the company of the locals an excellent pizza and cold beer. If you enjoy old pubs & friendly company then I recommend the Royal, we would stop again if we pass this way again. "

We accidentally left our iPad behind and the host made it simple and easy to arrange for its return.I would recommend that a subscription to a streaming service be included next time. Also possibly consider another packet of pegs as we wash regularly and with children we needed more. "

"Presents very clean and spacious and bright. Had everything we needed. Easy to keep everything tidy. The only difficulty I had was that I couldn't find the street number anywhere on the booking, so I had to match the photos of the outside of the house with what we saw as we drove along the street."
