    Good stay

    Great Lake camp. Loved the location. Quiet and peaceful. Nearly everything you could need from extra blankets to an air fryer and backgammon. Cozy but well thought out spaces. We had some trouble with the internet, water and drainage but these were minor blips for us and will be easily managed by the owner. We had no contact with the owner as our plans were not impacted.

    The good: Fridge was clean, location was great on the river, nice screen porch, property had canoe and paddle boat. The owner was very nice, cute dog always around but was a pest sometimes. The bad: on arrival the house smelled like sewer and mold, lots of spiders in the house, every room seemed to have webs, mouse or ant traps. Advertised to have 2 bedrooms, it was 1 bedroom and a nook with a futon bed no door, no privacy in either room there was only curtains to shut so you couldn't see in from the living area. Kitchen cabinets and draws had stuff in to use, utensil draw was gross along with most of the pots and pans. Pantry cabinet full of partially used packaged food. Bathroom, at first you flushed didn't really go down, dark ring in the bowl, after flushing you couldn't use the water for 30mins. Called the host had a plumber come out the following afternoon. good for 1 day was able to shower. Then the shower drain plugged and gross came up, bathroom sink also plugged up last night black stuff came up and didn't drain. Cabin needs a deep clean and up keep.
