"Very nice hotel - our favorite when we visit the grandkids! Our only issue this time was with housekeeping. We arrived Friday afternoon, asked that our room be serviced on Sunday, (they only do it every other day), and it was not done. Also, in the shower were the usual shampoo and shower gel, but instead of conditioner, the 3rd dispenser was body lotion! I asked if the lotion could be replaced with conditioner - didn’t happen. Disappointed!"

"This a cabin in a state park. It was very clean and had newer upgrades. Bring the food you need because it's fairly distance from a grocery. We came later in the day because we needed one night and this was a great price and not a chain hotel which we like. There is a little store not too far from the park. We ordered deli sandwiches from here and picked up some icecream. The sandwiches were delicious and the store had pretty much whatever you might need. The checkin process was great with good communication about which cabin to go to, what the door code was etc... We plan to come back for a longer stay so we can have another evening around the firepit and see all of the stars. Great place to stay."

"My wife and I stayed here for anniversary trip. The fox den is a perfect combination of 1970's vibes, while still having modern conveniences. We appreciated the fresh eggs provided and well stocked kitchen for making breakfast.The host put much effort in making sure it was great experience with great guidebook that provided information on everything in the fox den and recommended local places for dining and exploring. We also had the charcuterie add-on, which looked and tasted amazing and was perfect for snacking on during our stay.The location is very secluded as described. My only advice would be to plan your excursions from the fox den as it does take some extra travel time (especially if you normally live in more populated areas) than what you may be used to. That being said the natural beauty of the area, along with the peace and quiet was worth the extra distance. Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend the fox den to anyone looking for escape into both nature and the 1970's."
