The hotel was very nice, in a great area, convenient to the metro to easily get around the city. What was very disappointing, however, was the HVAC unit. Our room was miserably hot during our stay. The thermostat in the room has the option to switch between heat or cool, but the cool setting blew ...

The protestors were not peaceful. Well a few were, but most were anarchists. I did feel safe and peaceful in the hotel however.

I went to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. It is a very somber, yet thought-provoking place.
