"The inn is in a good place for a base, breakfast was ok but a healthier option would be a nice change. Rooms are fine but avoid room 1 as it backs onto female toilets of the bar. and you can hear the door banging too and the aircon quite loudly in the room ..also the cleaners at 5:30 ….but overall it’s a convenient place to stay and explore the coast"

"The pictures on the site do not represent the reality of this hotel. It’s currently very run down and in need of lots of work. We stayed for 3 nights, we only had 3 towels and although we asked for more twice, were not given any and they weren’t changed during our stay. The bathroom looked new but unfinished. There was nowhere to put shampoo etc. in the shower, the floor was slippy (I bought a rubber mat for them) the toilet flush was dodgy and neither the fan or light above the mirror worked. The breakfast was dodgy and the public areas really shabby. Shame really it could be really special. I can’t recommend it and we won’t return."

"We stayed 2 nights and wish it had been more! Our room was lovely.The breakfast was delicious. The staff friendly and very welcoming. It was easy enough to park in the car park square of Warkworth and we used local bus to travel into Alnwick (unfortunately the wait back for bus on bank holiday Monday was long as the one we waited for didnt arrive-think it got cancelled)Would suggest using an app for the bus if you use them as timings did not seem to be reliable.We also went into Morpeth which had some good shops. Amble is a good place to walk down to if you like a walk (and can is on bus route) we saw herons and lots of other birds on the walk there even catching a heron catch his dinner."

"Small but beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean. What a peaceful spot only yards from the stunning river Coquet and just down the footpath from Warkworth castle. Fine for 2 people but would be very snug for 4 as the twin room was pretty cramped. At last, a holiday let with a decent TV which also had access to Netflix and Prime. Very useful in the eveings as my wife's health makes going out at the end of the day a real challenge. It makes a brilliant base to explore from Amble in the south to Lindisfarne in the north."

"The property is nice and in a great location in the centre of Warkworth. It’s a downstairs apartment which they have made great use of the space. Parking close by. The main downside is the condensation in the bedrooms which is causing mould now, there is a dehumidifier there but it’s not making that much difference. Also the bathroom could do with an extraction fan of some sorts. But overall it is a lovely place. "
