"Very clean, we had a small double room which was fine for a couple of nights, very modern and location was perfect. Would have been nice to have a couple of bottles of water the local coop shuts on a Sunday at 4 so there is nowhere to buy water apart from the pubs. Would definitely stay again."

"Had a lovely stay at Windsor cottage. Well presented, great amenities and the most comfortable bed in the master bedroom. Slept like a log!
Ate out in local restaurants, which were lovely especially Alberto’s Italy.
There are a couple of free parking areas in town 5-10 minutes away. During our stay there was a film set in place for Father Brown and a restriction at the end of the road. It didn’t take away from our stay, but was glad of the premier inn parking just a 100m away. We pulled up to...

"What a property!!
Everything about this property is fantastic!
The decor, the cleanliness, the fixtures & fittings, the comfort of the furniture & beds, the crockery, etc etc is absolutely second to none!
The location being right by the main street with all the cafes, pubs and restaurants is also fantastic and the access to a small, private outside space is also a bonus!
I will without a doubt be booking this property again for my next visit to this part of the UK!"

"I've stayed at Old Silk Appartments twice so far in apartments 8 and 9. Both I found spotless, white soft towels, comfy beds, tastefully decorated well maintained and adequately appointed. Large fridge freezer, 4 ring hob oven and microwave, basic set of kitchen utensils and a couple of pans adequate to cook something simple.
Large TV with Netflix etc WiFi etc
It's better than a hotel room in terms of space and comfort at considerably less cost.
There are lots of late night food places in...

"An adorable little cottage with plenty of space to be comfortable and everything you need. Only one problem was that there were tons of moths so I was paranoid about them eating our clothes and/or them hitching a ride back home with us. "

"Very stylish hotel that maximises on its history.
The decor is well appointed.
I did find that the hotel shower head wasn't great with many of the water holes clogged with limescale and mould. These would benefit from a deep clean.
Another criticism is that the roof top bar has slow service and the men's toilets had no hand soap. This was asked for but never materialised.
Everything else was clean."
"Beautiful building, lovely staff, nice showers, and decent breakfast with gorgeous outdoor seating in a beautiful green courtyard. Drawback: No AC at this hotel & no window screens means you can't keep the windows open at night."
"Every single thing about this hotel from start to finish was perfect. The staff members at the front desk and restaurant were so warm and helpful, the entire hotel feels like you’re stepping back in time in all the best ways, and the room was INCREDIBLE. Both the breakfast and the dinner there were delicious. We stayed in a Superior Deluxe room that was so cozy and full of character I wished we had booked more than one night there. Very easy access to the entire town from here and everything is walkable. Would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in this town."
"New hotel, room very practical, new and clean (apart from one set if bedsheets, with dark hair that did not belong to us). No telephone to call reception in the room.
Staff very polite and helpful.
Was a bit surprised to have to pay extra for parking (nowhere on hotel details when I booked as far as I know).
Good to have starbucks on site.
On the whole, good experience but a bit expensive for a budget room, especially as we booked ages in advance"
"The hotel is in lovely grounds by the River Avon & has lots of parking space. The location is within easy reach by car of Kenilworth, Stoneleigh Abbey, Leamington Spa and Warwick.
The room was quiet and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The swimming pool is a bit small but fine if not many are using it.
Breakfast is a bit expensive if you pay for it separately and a bit early for us, during the week, but there was a good selection in the buffet and menu, although you had to pay extra for some dishes. The dinner was tasty although my fish dish was a bit salty.
The hotel isn't very eco friendly. There were little water bottles in the bedroom & we were given more the second day. I saw a trolley full of them. This is a lot of plastic waste. There is no need for plastic water bottles: wevfilled our own water bottles with water from the bar. Also, although we were encouraged to not discard barely used towels, one of my towels was uneccessarily replaced."
"Clean room. Looks like I stayed in a brand new renovated room. There is a lot of building work being done with the lift to my floor being out so had to walk the rest of the way up stairs which wasn’t a big issue for me."
