"Met every expectation"

"Booked room with a sofa but room had third bed in so there was no sofa. Could hear other guests children late at night and very early in morning so rooms are not sound proofed. No heating in bathroom so cold and not even winter yet. Hotel is very convenient to M6 and staff were very professional and friendly. Breakfast was very good and fresh."

"Very comfortable stay & excellent breakfast."

"Sorry to have to say this but this hotel is really not great, even for the price. They advertise as 'no dogs allowed' (fair enough and something I don't disagree with) yet when I went to check in, upon walking through the front door the first thing that struck me was the overwhelming smell of dog, and to be greeted by two loud dogs barking at me behind the small check in desk before any member of staff appeared. Room was basic and not a lot of attention has gone into cleaning it. Thick layers...

"The room standards were not great, as the rooms appeared old by hotel standards. The heating systems were exposed, and a portable air conditioner had been added to the room, which did not give it the feel of a proper hotel room. The supposedly white dressing gowns provided were visibly used, although they had been washed. One of them was also very old and discoloured into brown, so I could not use it. On my first morning, I was also disappointed with the breakfast experience. Some food items...

"Easy check in/out and not far from the motorway. A great place to stop off on a long journey"

"Spacious room, clean, rooms been modernised. Hallways could do with some renovations"

"Easy parking at the front of the hotel, friendly welcome. Loved that the check in was after 2pm! Room was an Exec Patio king which was on the ground floor of the new wing, overlooking the front. Very clean, with toiletries, iron ironing board, coffee machine, kettle, simple but good storage for a couple of nights stay. Shelving for own toiletries in bathroom and great mirrors/lighting. Hairdryer, smart tv. Comfortable bed and pillows, usb ports beside bed, blackout curtains, and patio door with...

"Great hotel, lovely food, friendly staff and a comfy bed."

"Room was spacious and clean. Bonus having a fridge too. Staff were friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking. Breakfast buffet was good, nice selection of options."

"Great news overnight stay. Staff were really helpful. Room was lovely and the bed was very comfy. Food in the pub was good too. A very enjoyable stay. Would stay again if in the area."

"Perfect hotel"

"The hotel itself was lovely, but it was the kindness of the staff that especially impressed me. I would definitely stay there again"

"Very clean, very quiet, had everything you need in one place, restaurant was nice and the food was nice, helpful staff. Parking was an additional cost which I do not like"

"Staff were very helpful and friendly. Nice pub next door, safe to go in when you don’t know the area"

"Very helpful staff and excellent food."
