"Overall, my stay was just okay. The entertainment on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday was pretty underwhelming it felt like the better shows actually happened during the week, which was disappointing.
The food was also hit or miss. The only standout meal I had was at the steakhouse, which I definitely recommend it’s a must if you stay here. Outside of that, the dining options didn’t really impress me.
One major issue was the number of flies around the property, especially in the dining areas. It was pretty noticeable and took away from the experience. I wish the resort would take better measures, like setting traps when restaurants are closed, to control the situation.
Overall, I wasn’t very impressed. I’ve definitely stayed at better all-inclusive resorts."
"We had an amazing experience here. The staff were very kind and attentive. They made our stay as convenient as possible. The hotel is beautiful. The service was excellent. We would book again here in a heart beat."
"Ideally situated right on the beach, this boutique hotel offers everything needed for a memorable Tamarindo vacation. All of the staff are friendly, helpful and always ready to respond to guests.
The room was clean and well maintained, just the right amount of space and even a kitchen area that allowed for stay in meals.
Breakfast was delivered daily and was fresh and generous. The view from the patio was both of the pool and the beach. Watching and hearing the waves while eating breakfast outside was awesome!"
"The food was why I took off a star. Buffet same every day and not all
That appealing but the reserve sushi and especially the Italian was dreadful. The Italian was below average ranging to actually not edible. From crunchy gnocchi soup to stale sprinkle on mushy tiramisu. Not good at all. Don't do it if you are going to serve tiny portions that are gross."
"Great experience for our 21st annual girls trip! Clean rooms, attentive staff, beautiful views, wonderful pool and beach experiences, great air conditioning. Only complaint is a small one, the mattresses were VERY firm, too firm. "
"Great staff and beautiful relaxing pool.and surroundings. Rooms are simple but clean and daily housekeeping very thorough. Close to many destinations around the beaches."
"We enjoyed our stay! Traveled with our adult children and their spouses. Beautiful beach with added bonus of manta rays swimming in the waves (they are safe and fun to watch). The pool area was nice with great bartenders and we enjoyed the poolside lunch service. Low key music and relaxing atmosphere.
Everyone was satisfied with the selection of food, nice buffet, omelet bar, only a couple of restaurants but offering a good selection. The Italian option is good, make sure to make a reservation.
Really wonderful staff, friendly and helpful. One of our members was tossed by a wave and got a bloody nose. Staff transported her to nearest urgent care and picked her up. Urgent care doctor was excellent. We appreciated their care and concern. Overall, good value for the price. "
The Westin Reserva Conchal, an All-Inclusive Golf Resort & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Staff, house keeping, activity centre and entertainment were all great. Restaurant options were limited due to closures so we were forced to eat at certain restaurants on some nights. "
