Modern, Fully Accessible 2-Bedroom Suite in Victoria with Private Patio

  • Welcome to Roo’s House! This 860 sq foot accommodation in the lower level of a private residence, offers two bedrooms and one bathroom. Additionally, you have a full size washer/dryer, brand new kitchen appliances including dishwasher and Insinkerator/garburator. The suite is fully wheelchair accessible with wide hallways and doorways. The kitchen is fully stocked with all your cooking and baking needs. The suite has air conditioning and heating via a heat pump. There is a south facing private patio and garden area for rest and relaxation. There is parking for 2 vehicles and some street parking for your visitors.

    Roo’s House is centrally located in the Capital Region. It is 15-20 minutes from the downtown core, 10 minutes to the Westshore, 20 minutes to UVIC, 25 minutes to the airport and 30 minutes to the BC Ferry terminal. You are 2 blocks from the Galloping Goose commuter bike trail and are surrounded by trail systems and parks for your walking or running enjoyment.

    This is a non-smoking, non-vaping property.

We had a lovely time! The apartment is exactly as shown and there were so many thoughtful touches such as the baked treats to enjoy. Diane provided everything any guest may want on a trip to Victoria. We truly appreciated the outdoor setting as well and the lovely patio. Thankyou for a wonderful stay. Highly Recomended.

This property and the host were amazing. Quiet, close to the cool stuff in Victoria, immaculate and welcoming. It's the best VRBO I have ever stayed in --by far. Only sad part is that I didn't get to met Roo!

We would come back to this property in a heartbeat! Everything was impeccably clean, comfortable, and stocked in every way imaginable. The location was great, the neighbourhood quiet, and our host was quick to respond and gave us some great recommendations. Lots of special touches like fabulous pastries at check in. :) Wish we could have stayed longer!

The host provided everything one could need for a comfortable stay and more! We so appreciated finding an accessible property in a convenient location in Victoria. The spotless space is fresh and new. So many touches were included for comfort and convenience. Highly recommended.

Location is all it was described to be. Only thing that might have been improved upon it having a firm straight backed chair as well as the couch and stools.The beds were very comfortable and the bedding more than adequate.The location is centrally located for the excursions and events we were wanting to do.I loved seeing the hummingbirds, bumblebees, and little lizards all around the property. I was actually lucky enough to get a couple of pictures of the hummingbirds.Diane has several scrumptious bakery goods waiting for us when we arrived.

There was a lot of extras provided, such as coffee, tea, condiments, drinks etc. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed to cook meals.Excellant place to stay, highly recommend it.

This is a beautifully appointed 2bedroom private suite with heated bathroom floors and a fantastic back private patio with BBQ. All the little extras have been thoughtfully added; fresh pastries from a local bakery, welcome book with everything you could possibly need information on, a tea and coffee bar, some cold drinks in the fridge. If you have children, there are games, books etc. Thank you Dianne for a great stay.

What a perfect spot for the weekend. We were a perfect distance from downtown Victoria. The unit was clean and comfortable. The host left us a tray of local goodies and other helpful items. I use a wheelchair and could navigate everywhere. The bathroom was perfectly suited for me. I wish the weather was warmer in the evenings so we could’ve sat outside because the outside space was lovely. I’d highly recommend and book again if we ever come back to Victoria.

Wonderful VRBO property and owner!

Easily one of the best VRBO properties we've stayed at. Diane is an excellent, communicative host and the state of her property is first rate. Extremely well kept and clean. Highly recommend this accommodation that is in an ideal location to get around anywhere in Victoria!

This is by far one of the nicest rentals I have ever stayed at. There were so many thoughtful touches throughout the rental. It was sparkling clean and incredibly comfortable! I highly recommend!

This property was lovely, probably one of the best I’ve stayed at. Very clean and well-equipped. Diane was very attentive and thoughtful in all of the additional touches. The baked goods from a local bakery were such a treat when we arrived! The beds were very comfortable and the suite was very quiet. Would absolutely stay again.
