Top Valley Stream Hotel Reviews
PUBLIC, an Ian Schrager hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Staff is nice and the location was perfect to get to places quickly. A few minor quirks with the room but nothing that was too bothersome."
Hotel St. James
10/10 Excellent
"The room was not huge, but a good size, and the bed was comfortable. My window faced a brick wall, but I was not concerned about the lack of view, as the wall gave me privacy."
Doubletree by Hilton New York Times Square South
8/10 Good
"Some of the daytime staff and nighttime staff were excellent, but some were not. We asked for help with air in our room. An engineer showed up about 25 minutes later and did not even look at the thermostat and said I'll go talk to the front desk. We never heard from him again. we then realized our AC was on a motion detector, and had the front desk just told us that we could've avoided wasting our time waiting for someone to fix overall, it was a good stay, but I would probably look at other hotels when we come into town again. It wasn't so amazing. I would have to stay there again."
Arlo Midtown

Hotel Edison Times Square
8/10 Good
"The staff was welcoming. We left bags with the bellhop for a fee of $1 per bag. Location is great, you can exit on either side of the block. The room was a decent size for NYC. Beds were queen size and comfortable. No fridge or microwave in the room but there was ice nearby on our floor. AC did not work well and we were never cool. I sat in the lobby of our floor one morning to not wake my family and the lobby was hot too. Wifi also was not great. I had work to do and had to use my phone hotspot because the wifi would not stay connected. Shower is fine but bathrooms are super small. The toilet faces the sink. Very little room if you need to get dressed in the bathroom. Never waited too long for an elevator. Due to the size of the hotel, there are a lot of people and it is always busy/crowded in the lobby. Hotel offers free daily walking tours and also has a wine happy hour a couple of evenings. We were given complimentary water, chips, a chocolate bar and a bottle of wine. Housekeeping was good and room/property is clean. The breakfast options are good. You can choose grab and go in the building or walk down the block to eat at Carve, where you get a small menu with about 10 choices that are then made fresh, and you can redeem there until 3:00. I would stay again if I could afford a room with a bigger bathroom, or if I could leave the restroom door open based on who I'm traveling with. Also would only stay during colder months when I'm not dependent on air conditioning."

"Location is great."
Hard Rock Hotel New York - Partner of ALL Accor
10/10 Excellent
"What a beautiful, modern and clean hotel! Rooms are very well appointed and not too small for NYC. Staff are what make this place amazing, everyone is so accommodating and nice. Room service is a bit expensive for the quality but didn't stop us ordering more. All up we thoroughly enjoyed our stay."
Empire Hotel
