"Room was good, clean and I would stay here again. Although it took a while to get staff at the bar, noticed myself and other people waiting a long time to get served. Staff were at reception rather than one being behind the bar and the other two at reception."

"Great staff, very helpful. The property needs little upgrade especially toilet( hissing sound ), shower plumbing and room floor( uneven ). I understand it's a very historical and old building so might be difficult to deal with those issues but thought I would mention them nonetheless."

"A little dated and basic, but was very pleasantly surprised! Enjoyed my spontaneous night here with the dog, staff very kind and helpful. Big cups in the room, with nice biscuits and Yorkshire tea! Very affordable too for the night, would very happily return - given at a services, I didn’t hear the motorway at all! I stayed for convenience, not a ‘need’ and personally for £37 a night, I’d happily go back again!"

"It was a good, clean hotel. Ideally located for business at the Westpoint Arena. Good breakfast options, very comfortable bed, it was everything we needed for a weekend stay. Highly recommended!"
