"We had a very relaxing stay at Simonetta ‘s country cottage. We had some trouble finding it due to roadworks re-routing us. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. The view over Orvietto was outstanding and we made full use of the beautiful garden area. We would love to stay again if we returned."

"Elisa's cottage is a thoughtfully curated place with everything you need for a relaxing holiday in Panicale. She is an incredibly responsive host, and we truly felt like her guests. She greeted us with a bottle of local wine and even sent some fresh eggs round during our stay which were delicious!We were there during a heat wave which meant the air conditioning in two rooms (the bedroom and the lovely sitting area) was a welcome feature. "Long time ago we found this feeling good place - I call it ‚a diva‘ - hidden in a beautiful property. The atmosphere is unique. The trees, the space, the view, the aesthetic pool, the peaceful days, the daily easy going kiss your heart. Couldn‘t be better. The family restaurants are cooking the best Italian cuisine you can dream from. Your host is wonderful. Plus his two softly dogs too. I truly recommend SantaMaria. But be sure - it is hard to say goodbye after a while."

"The house is ideal for a couple or family with up to 3 children. It is off the beaten track but that is its charm. The views are senational and the house lacks for nothing for self catering. The local town Spello is only 10 minutes drive away and is charming with excellent restaurants, interesting shops and and sights. Most impottantly, Nadia, the owner is the most conscientious and solicitous of host. She speaks admirable English and visited every other day to check we were OK and to to clean...

"We had a wonderful holiday in seclusion with lots of rest and relaxation. We were welcomed with a homemade cake and a bottle of wine. The pool would be cleaned unobtrusively and after consultation every two days. Our landlord Mario was always courteous and helpful. From the house it was possible to make small hikes. The house was clean and well maintained. The drive over the gravel road alone requires some driving skills or an off-road vehicle, but it was easy to manage with our station wagon....
