We had a wonderfully relaxing weekend at the cabin! Chris was a kind, welcoming host with a beautiful property and very sweet dogs. We would recommend this stay to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

Lovely spot for a couple to spend an evening, or more. Host was quite friendly and helpful. Pool was lovely. Views were fantastic.

We were looking for something close to Santa Rosa but remote enough to avoid loud fireworks or firecrackers (very upsetting to our dog). This rustic cabin was a perfect fit! Dog friendly, Easy check-in with immediate contact from host, beautiful view of lake Mendocino with sightings of deer, turkeys lizards and many birds. Best 4th of July we’ve had in years. Thanks Chris!

Wonderful Relaxing stay in Mendocino County

We had the best weekend at this cabin! Amazing views, rustic charm, very relaxing. Short drive to great wineries and redwood hikes. The owner is very easy to communicate with and helpful. Dog friendly is a huge bonus!

Very nice small cabin with modern amenities (including a very nice shower) on host's property with incredible view of the valley.

Host was amazing. Loved his 2 dogs. Perfect getaway. Great views and close to Orr hot springs! A bit disappointed that site said pool which was not available. Overall very satisfied and would recommend.

This was exactly what my wife and i were looking for! Chris, the host was awesome with communication. The property has amazing walking roads and nature everywhere you look that just matches the Cabin Vibe. The fireplace so cozy after our walk viewing wild flora and fauna. The hot tub is perfect for two people amd is private even though its up at thr main house. This was absolutely what we needed and more then we expected. We will be looking at this for our future get aways!!!!!

Awesome Views - Beautiful Property

The accommodations were excellent. Nice layout with a comfy bed and pillows, quaint kitchen with full stove and microwave. Perfect for a solo traveler or a couple. The views of Ukiah and the surrounding area were spectacular, especially at night. The drive up to the cabin was awesome. It was twisty with deep drop offs but was a pleasant experience. Chris allowed us to use his pool on the property and we got to meet his two pups. Overall, it was an excellent, relaxing stay.

It was a very charming cottage, and the owner was very friendly and helpful, he made sure our dogs got along together and then gave us lots of privacy. He lives on the property, in a house, just up the hill from the cottage. There was a cute built-in desk where I spent some time writing. Lots of trails nearby for humans and dogs. A beautiful area! The natural food co-op is also a wonderful place. For those coming from the city, be aware that this is a rural area. When I arrived, the cottage was spick and span, but in the morning there were mouse droppings in the pantry. Don’t leave food out! I’m would definitely come back for another retreat.

Perfect Cabin Retreat

A Relaxing Getaway with Stunning Surroundings We had an unforgettable stay at this cabin! The views of Lake Mendocino were absolutely breathtaking, creating the perfect setting for a relaxing retreat. Our dog loved exploring the area, and we appreciated the peaceful atmosphere as much as she did.The location was fantastic—not only close to town for groceries and essentials but also surrounded by incredible activities. There were plenty of hiking trails nearby, and the Redwood groves offered a magical experience. We also enjoyed a short drive to the coast, where we explored beautiful beaches. For wine enthusiasts, the nearby wineries added another layer of charm to our trip.We’re already planning to return this summer and can’t recommend this cabin enough for anyone looking for a serene escape with easy access to nature’s best offerings.
