This was excellent value for Tulum. It’s listed as 5-star on Expedia, but I’d say it’s a very good 4-star stay and I would definitely rebook next time I’m in Tulum.
Arrival was easy – an InDrive from the main strip cost around 100 MXN. The road in is a little rocky, but manageable. Check-in was quick with a coded entry system, though I was still personally greeted on arrival, which was a lovely touch.
The room was spacious, clean and well equipped. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and I slept incredibly well every night. There’s a small but useful fridge, a safe, a good kitchen and reliable WiFi. Water pressure and temperature were both very good. Phone signal in the area is poor, but that isn’t the property’s fault.
A real highlight was having a private pool on the balcony, plus there is also a rooftop communal pool with large loungers and day beds.
Gerardo was fantastic throughout – friendly, responsive and always happy to help on WhatsApp. Cleaning and fresh towels can be arranged easily and I was also allowed a late check-out.
Only minor improvements: there was a little rust/limescale in the bathroom, the towels could be replaced and body lotion alongside the otherwise premium toiletries would make it feel even closer to 5-star!
