Everything was perfect. Check-in process, room and the overall amenities were great for a couple night stay. Breakfast was prepared fresh every morning by the inn keepers, and it was fantastic.

Love this place… the view and property were spectacular! Service was friendly. Breakfast was good, loved that the kitchen and its amenities were available continuously. Wish we could have stayed longer for the hikes etc. Next time! One thing … maybe note that the road is rough coming in from Trinidad. Our SUV was fine, but in the dark and or my low roadster, would have been a problem.

Good, but not great

The location was great, you are so close to beautiful forest. The staff was really friendly and the breakfast was made with care. For a place this close to trees and forest I certainly expected there to be bugs, but I was prepared for trails of ants clear across the room, ants in the living space, near the bed (even found a couple in the bed) and in the bathroom. There were ant traps in the room so this is clearly a regular issue. We ultimately left a day early because we just weren't comfortable. I would definitely recommend bringing your own disinfectant wipes and house shoes to wear around the room.
