"*Charming location, but a few rough edges* Masseria Stefanodelconte has a lot going for it - the owner was genuinely helpful and kept in touch throughout our stay, the parking was convenient, and the location is excellent. Easy access to the motorway made day trips a breeze, with Alberobello, Ostuni and the other valley towns all within 30 minutes. Bari airport is a straightforward 45-minute drive. That said, a few things let it down. The breakfast selection was disappointing for the price point - on more than one occasion it felt like food had been carried over from the previous day rather than freshly prepared. We also encountered moths and ants in the room on several occasions, which wasn’t ideal. The trulli-style rooms, while atmospheric, have no windows, which makes temperature regulation difficult - our room swung between too hot and too cold with little middle ground. The access gate to the property is also very slow, which becomes a minor irritation after a few days of coming and going. A lovely setting with real potential, but some basics need attention before it fully justifies the boutique price."

"This hotel is absolutely outstanding. It is tranquil, beautifully situated, the facilities are as bountiful as they are beautiful but most of all, the staff are outstanding. It is simply superb. "

"We were given a different room than we booked (same price but smaller), with natural light only coming through the door (this is pretty normal in the area but not great in winter). Shower wasn’t great as the door didn’t close properly and the water didn’t flow well. Service was a bit impersonal with little explanation of the grounds. Staff didn’t seem to particularly care about guests. Overall ok for the price but wouldn’t come back."

"This place was simply amazing! Everything about it was perfect, from the delightful and energetic host to the gardens. Our room was beautiful and perfectly appointed. We even had our own private little courtyard. If this was a 3-star masseria, I can't imagine how 5-star ones could be any nicer. The place is surrounded by olive groves that date back to as many as 1,000 years. The masseria itself is a perfectly and tastefully restored building that includes a lower-level breakfast room that was carved into the rock. The breakfast itself was amazing and made mostly by the hostess/owner herself. I would not hesitate to return to this beautiful, peaceful place."

"Spotless hotel! Even always smelled so clean. Alexandro was wonderful along with all the staff! From check in to breakfast everyone was kind and friendly. If we had good weather it would have been a perfect trip! Thank you to everyone that went above and beyond for us! Grazie Mille❣️"
