"The place is funky and gorgeous. I hat to change my room due to the kids next room being very loud. Mina from the front desk was extremely accommodating. She helped to find a quieter room the next morning and I slept much better the next night. I really liked the breakfast. I can only eat so much so I was happy it was ala carte not Buffet. It’s quite pricey but I’m glad that I chose this place for my first two nights in Bergen."

"We had a good one night stay at the Scandic Torget hotel. Small, clean, quiet room. AC didn’t work, but the front desk sent up a fan that made sleeping a lot more comfortable. The staff was professional and courteous. Hotel is centrally located, within easy walking distance of all Bergen attractions."

"Nice hotel overall. We booked it because of the central location and it didn’t disappoint. Breakfast was excellent, lots of options and very fresh. The hotel does not have parking and there is no street parking for visitors in central Bergen, but there are couple of fairly expensive parking lots around. Also, there are very limited charging stations in central Bergen (we had to drive 15 min to get our car charged) and the staff wasn’t very helpful overall with the questions."

"We were there the day the hotel opened. Nice rooms. Great location. No parking at all. Had to park in a garage a full kilometer away. There was no breakfast available and no coffee machines (which seems like a crime for Norway) because they hadn’t arrived yet. Some sawdust in the room from construction. Stickers hadn’t been removed on bathroom fixtures. Overall lovely hotel with the kind of issues you’d expect from anywhere on their first two days in business. Would happily stay again, especially if we didn’t have a car."
