"We were greeted very warmly by our host. As we had an early start they were able to find us a few breakfast items since we were going to miss the buffet the next day. Bathroom was very modern, great water pressure in the shower. AC had a tough time keeping up with the heat, so it was warm sleep."

"We stayed here before we took the train to Ravenna to catch a cruise. The hotel is bery close to the Zatterre water bus station, which meant a very easy and quick walk to the hotel, and quick access back to the Venice Train station. Hotel was clean for its age, very quiet, and the aircon worked well. Breakfast service but we did not take us of that. A few restaurants and cafes nearby. Lots of stairs though, as typical for many older hotels. Would stay here again."

"This is a fantastic luxury hotel in the heart of Venice, close to all the major attractions yet quiet and exclusive. The room was spacious and well equipped, and the service was outstanding. Our room had a balcony that had a wonderful view of Venice. The staff goes out of their way to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. This is a very special hotel--our stay was unforgettable. "This hotel which oozed character was an excellent find. Close to St Marks Square but situated in a quiet corner of Venice. The staff were all helpful and polite and great at answering all our questions. Breakfasts offered a wide selection of foods and although we never ate our dinner in the hotel it always was busy. Best part was sitting relaxing by the canal in the reception area sipping a cool glass of beer or aperol spritz! I would highly recommend this small hotel."

"Exceeded my expectations. I was a little worried considering the mixed reviews but I was very pleased w the state of the apartment. It’s quite spacious and borderline luxurious. We loved the large windows. Washer was inside the room which was very useful. Kitchenette, cooking equipment, microwave, and mini fridge. The only downside was that our apartment’s vents were not working."
