"We booked Ruby's cottage extremely last minute so we weren't expecting to find somewhere this good! Such a gorgeous house in the most stunning location. We loved the loft room and seeing a mountain out of each window (we especially enjoyed looking at Blencathra after we had climbed it!) The front garden was so nice to sit and read in while our toddler napped.
So easy to get to Keswick and other lovely places. Great pubs, lovely cafe & a nice little play park very close by. Well-equipped house...

"Though bijou, it was well designed and the space was very well used. The outside space was good and lovely to have the hills around, We did have problems using the very modern microwave/grill and cooker - It needed DETAILED WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS! and we would have preferred an ordinary electric kettle. A corkscrew, too would have been useful! But, we enjoyed a wonderful 2 days"

"Excellent little cottage, we really enjoyed our Monday - Friday stay. A nice little touch with the Kendal mint cake and biscuits. Bathroom and kitchen are both modern and clean. "

"Our second stay at Maiden Moor and when visiting Keswick again, we will stay there.
Everything you need for self catering and very cosy.
Another benefit, walking distance into Keswick."

"A lovely flat, I was very impressed particularly with how clean it was - as someone with severe food allergies such a clean kitchen was a dream. Brilliant location and lovely decor too."

"This is the second time we have stayed at Jasmine Cottage. It is cosy and comfortable with all that you might need for a March visit to the Lakes.
The sunroom is a lovely extra space."

"We stayed at Grandy with our two young children, who loved the bunk beds and all the space for running about and playing. The grown ups appreciated the comfortable sofas and bed, the warmth in the apartment and the ample storage space. Being able to amble straight into Keswick town centre was ideal, and we were not far from the playground at Fitz Park or Derwentwater for the views."

"Great staff, great location and gardens.
Stains on carpets in several areas, breakfast buffet disappointing, decor needs freshening up.
Parking charge of £10 per night surprising and disappointing."
"Beautiful location, easy parking, we stayed in room 101 which was lovely the only negative was no privacy when blackout curtains are open this room is clearly visible to all seated outside spa and courtyard."
"Great location real old style hotel in beautiful grounds very very clean loverly staff friendly and helpful breakfast is a buffet with cereals, pastrys, fresh fruit, yogurt and cooked breakfast which is very good quality and cooked to a high standard you also get tea, coffee and fresh orange juice and tomato juice we would highly recommend this hotel to friends and family"
"Lovely place, clean, some maintenance happening, but didn't disturb our 5 days. Breakfast had plenty choices including Eggs Benedict or Eggs Royale, restaurant, lovely food. Staff very friendly and helpful.
20min drive from Keswick, which was handy for more restauarants, bars and the boat trip was brilliant.
Tennis Court, mini golf a bonus on-site and swimming pool was good size and good to cool down as weather was hot for our trip.
Being Scottish, it would be nice to have bar open a bit later, overall stay was excellent, definitely would visit again."
"Amazing stay! The hotel was clean, quiet, and beautifully maintained. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice, and all the staff were very polite, friendly, and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.
The only downside was the attic loft room. It was quite small, and the sloped ceiling meant I hit my head several times near the skylight. Next time, I would prefer a standard room rather than an attic loft"
