  • This newly refurbished cottage has stunning views over Loughrigg, towards Coniston Old Man. enter into the warm lounge, it has a south west aspect. The bay window has a spectacular view, there are fabulous views from every window, It is 5 minutes walk from Ambleside centre.. no need to take the car, there is a newly dedicated parking space for 1 car. Sit & watch the sun go down outside or walk down to one of the many restaurants, cafes, bars & cinemas located nearby. There is a well equipped galley style kitchen with dishwasher, coffee machine etc, 3 bedrooms, a modern bath with shower & WC, central heating operated by a Hive thermostat & living fire. There are many outdoor activities to enjoy, walking, cycling, sailing, kayaking, paddle boarding to name but a few, the perfect base for a wonderful Lake District holiday.

    There is free superfast broadband, towels and bed linen are all included.

    3 night stays are available in winter months only on request.

This property has amazing views across the valley towards the hills. Good central location with dedicated parking. Great place to stay in Ambleside and central location for discovering other areas in the Lakes

The cottage was comfortable, had a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside, and the town center was easily accessible on foot. The host was very helpful and easy to contact.

We had such a lovely stay with our young family at this charming cottage. The view was wonderful and the property was clean, comfortable and in a very convenient location, just a short walk into the town, the bus stops and the water front. The kitchen is well stocked and there are lots of books and games in the living room. The host was always quick and helpful in responding to our messages. Already looking forward to staying again!

Great Cottage

Perfect spot for our stay in Ambleside. The view is amazing and it's a short walk to town. Will definitely look at staying here again when we return to the lakes.

Cottage with a view

The lovely view from the lounge/diner makes the property, which was very well equipped and very well located in relation to the village centre and its many restaurants and shops. Our stay was enhanced by some really exceptional weather.

Linda’s cottage is lovely and in a central location really close to the town and with lovely views. Having a car parking space was brilliant. The cottage itself had very thing we needed and Linda responded to messages really quickly. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Lovely stay

The accommodation was just as described and comfortably big enough for the 4 of us. Was great to be able to walk from the house onto the fells, to the lake and to the town. Lovely views as well.

Blue Hill Cottage

We loved everything about our stay in Ambleside Blue Hill Cottage. Close to local stores and very easy access to lots of hiking trails. We would love to go back in the future.

Great base for the Southern Lakes

Such a comfortable place to stay, within walking distance of the many pubs and restaurants in Ambleside. And on the doorstep of so many great walks. Fantastic views and heaps of games and DVDs in case of a rainy day!

No problems with parking and allocated space outside of property. Wi-fi reliable although we were mostly out and about.Property clean throughout. Best feature was the location for us. Just a 5 min stroll into town for pubs, shops and cafes and also benefits from great walks being available from doorstep.

Great location

Gorgeous views. Amazing location. Clean and reasonably well equiped. Cozy and warm. Small kitchen for up to 5 guests but we managed.

Excellent Lakeland Base.

Lovely well equipped property. An excellent location for the village of Ambleside which is a five minute walk to the centre and perfect base for walking Wainwright hills.

Beautiful location

This is a well located cottage with a lovely view. The parking space was convenient.The house was clean ,wi fi worked and beds were comfy. The stairs to the top floor are very steep especially with luggage and the shower had low pressure. Overall a lovely stay. Overall a lovely
