However I was quite proud of this shot, especially the detail on the underside of the wings. Obviously this is a bird of prey, but I am unsure as to what it is exactly. The Lilac Breasted Roller Possibly one of the best photos I've taken. There is such a huge variety of different species of birds living in South Africa, but the lilac breasted roller has to be one of the most beautiful. Shot on my birthday at Thornybush Game Reserve in Hoedspruit. #colorful
