"A magical spot that felt very off grid - an excellent retreat from the busy Festival of Speed, which we were attending.Friendly and welcoming hosts, amazing views and a well equipped little kitchen that you can cook a hob-top meal on. Lovely area, White Lion pub in village worth a visit. Thanks to Clifford and family for a great stay."

"traditional pub with very friendly staff and good quality food. the flat is above the pub but has its own entrance. You can hear people downstairs but this didn't disturb us. We ate both evening we were there and it was excellent and very good value. The flat is in the oldest part of the pub and as such the door frames are low but the ceilings are fine. There was everything we needed and it was nice and clean. Very good value for 2 couples."

"The White House Retreat was perfect for our 4 night stay . On entering you get the wow factor as it’s beautifully appointed and luxurious. The decor is modern and light with a stunning fireplace and upholstery. Bubbling hot tub on decking is the icing g on the cake . Very relaxing .Lots to do in the area . Worthing , Brighton Arundel and Chichester to visit and lots of pubs and restaurants nearby ."

"On arrival we were unable to access the property and had to wait for another guest to let us in. Smooth check process thereafter, Michael receptionist lovely and welcoming.
Property description is not entirely what it seems as whole chalet is a bit miss leading, the rooms are part of a large building and spacious, clean rooms. Slightly dated, it is a charity which explains the decor and layout. No bar at the weekend, no swimming pool at the weekend. Good location, would stay again now I...
