Tewin: The village sign Martin 141082 and Robert 1303488 have already submitted images of the sign, but a brief sunny interval in an otherwise generally overcast day afforded an irresistible opportunity of a duplicate! The sign is actually a Millennium commemoration too with the year 2000 prominent in the display. The main feature in the picture on the sign is the River Mimram. The village of Tewin is actually set some distance away and up the valley slopes from the river.

"I was given a room on the ground floor which was set out for a disabled person as were most of the other GF rooms. I’m sorry but this was not suitable it felt like staying in an old folks home and I had booked 3 nights.
