"Fantastic stay. Would stay again. Stayed in the newer side. The beds were comfy and everything was clean. Swimming pool lovely and warm, facilities all clean. Breakfast was good. Family friendly although would be great to see the kids swim times extended slightly. "

"Lovely old fashioned room with a large single bed. Very comfortable bed and an ensuite shower room. All the staff were lovely and friendly and breakfast was delicious. I booked the hotel to use as a base to attend 3 race meetings. Cheltenham on the way up, Liverpool on day 2 and nearby Bangor-on-Dee on day 3. It worked out perfectly and I was even able to visit Wrexham as well, so no complaints from me. "

"Didn't have breakfast. No alcohol available in the bar, general 'tiredness' of the property, especially the bar area and the entrance. Staff very friendly and helpful."

"The environment offers remarkable tranquility, and I particularly appreciate the serenity of the location. Breakfast was satisfactory; however, the lunch service was less impressive. For individuals unperturbed by potential scrutiny due to their ethnicity, the establishment is adequate, provided one is not overly self-conscious. The hotel itself was acceptable, and the staff were reasonably courteous, although it was evident that they were not accustomed to accommodating Black guests....
