All the Palais des Sables' staff will receive you. There are four employees, a cooker, a housekeeper, a janitor, and a gardener in charge of the pool will make sure you have a quiet and delightful stay. For €1400 - €2000 euros per week, you can have unforgettable moments with your family, staying in 7 double bedrooms with private bathrooms, three living rooms, two dining rooms, the terrace in different levels, the heated pool, the steam room, the garden with trees, the unobstructed views of the Middle Atlas Mountains, and many possible activities. Séjour au Palais des Sables

Loger au Riad le Palais des sables avec une délégation officielle d’élus; demandait calme, élégance, professionnalisme. Nous avons tout eu avec en plus, la gentillesse et la simplicité de nos hôtes. Taraudant est une ville authentique, qui saura enchanter les vrais découvreurs du monde. J’aimerai y revenir avec mes amis.

Oasis dans Taroudant la brulante

Magique !!!

Nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable au Palais des sables. Cet endroit est absolument exceptionnel, tout y est calme, luxe et volupté. La décoration est d’un goût exquis, les chambres sont très grandes, la literie parfaite. Et que dire du personnel, de Touria qui gère la maison et qui est toujours là pour anticiper et répondre à chaque besoin ! Elle et son équipe mitonnent de délicieux repas tout au long de la journée, nous nous sommes régalés !! Merci à Olivia et tout le personnel du Palais des sables pour ce sublime séjour !! Nous espérons avoir l’occasion de revenir !!

Beautiful Riad

We had a fabulous week at this property. It is beautifully and tastefully designed and decorated. The staff were discreet and helpful, they cooked all our meals and did a very good job, the Pastilla is definately worth a try. The pool is a great size and the family spent many fun hours in it. We used the bikes to cycle round Taroudant and enjoyed a drive up the Atlas mountinas Tizi and Test pass as well as visiting Tiout Oasis where they filmed Ali Ba Ba and the 40 theives. The staff also booked us massages, Morroccan style- much appreciated. The views to the mountains are epic. We did have a very stressful hour on arrival, having travelled from Scotland to find the Riad had people in and had been doubled booked! However the staff were very good in mananging this situation and sent the others to a local hotel while we checked in! It would be great to have some information in English as the staff and welcome literature is a french only affair. We muddled through with google translate and school level french! We loved exploring the area, so totally different from anything we have seen, very unspoilt and not really a 'normal' tourist destination. Everyone we meet was super friendly and warm towards us. Beware there is much poverty in this region and whilst everyone is very kind there is not a tourist framework. As one guide book said, if you reach Tarourdant you know you have really travelled.

Excellent séjour familial (à 10 adultes et 2 jeunes enfants) dans cette belle maison à l'intérieur des remparts de Taroudant. L'équipe sur place est parfaite (discrétion, gentillesse, disponibilité) et pépare une cuisine (option indispensable avec un rapport qualité/prix imbattable à mon avis) délicieuse et variée . Avec de jeunes enfants il faut être attentif à la piscine ! Pour les activités en dehors du Palais (qui nécessitent une voiture ou un taxi) , n'hésitez pas à parler à l'équipe.

Un sejour au paradis...

Merveilleusement bien situé, près de tout, en toute intimité, une vue magnifique, le Palais des Sables est absolument réussi. Les chambres sont très agréables a vivre, la piscine centrale, réuni les invités et enfants en toute harmonie et convivialité. Les salons le temps d une pose sont chaleureux. Une semaine de rêve en famille

Nous avons passé une semaine à 8 en famille. Une semaine de rêve, chacun a apprécié non seulement le lieu, chaleureux et décoré avec beaucoup de goût mais tout autant l'accueil du personnel avec qui nous avons bien échangé. La Les repas préparé de produits frais et diversifiés. Les excursions à Souss massa, dans le désert ou la montagne de l'Atlas, la découverte de la culture d'argan et même pour certains une virée surf à Agadir en testant le taxi partagé local ;-) La ville de Taroudant est authentique et nous avons aimé son côté peu touristique à cette période. L'équipement du riad est exceptionnel. bravo et merci.

Een fantastisch mooie vakantie / fortement recomm

Aanrader!! Wij hebben twee fantastische weken gehad in het paleis. Het was een bijzonder mooie herinnering. Touria en Imad, de housekeepers zijn toppers! Het licht, de stad, de lieve mensen, de kleuren, de vogels en de schildpadden, het zwembad en het eten: alles bij elkaar maakt deze vakantie uniek. Palais des Sables heeft een speciale plek in ons hart. Wij verbleven met 3 families en met (kleine) kinderen en raden het zeker aan! Het is schoon en het eten geweldig! De stad Taroudant is zeker bijzonder. Maar ook buiten de stad zijn dingen te beleven. Soms op paar uur rijden afstand. Ga je via een bergweg, dan is dat op zich al een avontuur. Een huurauto is wel handig als je verder dan de stad wil komen (je kunt ook een taxi nemen). De meeste mensen spreken Frans. Op een paar uur vliegen van Nederland bevindt je je in een compleet andere wereld. Weinig toeristen en veel authenticiteit. Een prachtige ervaring!

Une escapade enchantée dans un palais de rêve

Voici une merveilleuse adresse à ne diffuser qu’aux amis que vous aimez ! Le palais des sables est idéalement situé au pied des remparts, la vue est sublime sur l’atlas au loin enneigé. L’architecture de la maison est très bien réfléchie, chaque chambre dispose d’une terrasse, de son coin cheminée. La qualité des matériaux est exceptionnelle, le décor raffiné, au diapason de la ville. L’accueil sur place, le dévouement de ses propriétaires est des plus aimables tout comme les habitants de la ville. L'accès à Taroudant est facile, mons d'une heure depuis Agadir par une 4 voies très confortable. Un lieu dont vous garderez des souvenirs !

The Best Villa Ever

This was an amazing place to stay. We arrived on Saturday evening and were met by the house staff who had a delicious meal waiting for us. Once we ate we were shown to our rooms and settled in to the gorgeous villa. The villa was comfortable and spacious for the 14 people in our party. The rooms had all the necessary amenities as well as AC. There are numerous balconies and seating areas around the villa indoors where we relaxed and enjoyed Moroccan tea and cakes. The pool was lovely and the children spent most days swimming and playing around the /villa. The pet turtles were lovely and the children enjoyed following them around all day. The meals were absolutely delicious and nothing was too much trouble for Touria the housekeeper. We went on trips into the town with Imad and he was on hand to help with anything we needed. Touria organised to amazing excursions, one to Agadir and one to Tifnit where we took a donkey ride through an Oasis. It was a lovely place to stay and was memorable in so many ways! The hospitality of the staff was further extended when my 3yr old daughter forgot her favourite Teddy Bear at the Villa as we were in a rush to the airport, I emailed Olivia and the Bear is currently travelling back to us via land, sea and air!!! We will definitely be going back soon to this lovely place!

Nous avons passé un séjour de rêve durant 10 jours au Palais des sables. Ce Riad est magnifique, décoré et aménagé avec beaucoup de goût. Toutes les chambres sont spacieuses et très agréables, avec salle de bain attenante. La literie très confortable. Tout est nickel! La piscine est grande, très propre et bien entretenue, tout comme le jardin. L'endroit est top, exactement comme sur les photos et le descriptif. Il est situé à l'intérieur de la Médina ce qui est très agréable pour aller facilement se balader dans la ville. Olivia est très accueillante et nous a bien aidée sur l'organisation des transferts. Elle met à disposition toutes les bonnes adresses de Taroudant et des environs à disposition avec des commentaires personnels et des références de prix locaux L'exception du lieu vient aussi et surtout du personnel présent dans la maison, d'une gentillesse, d'une discrétion et d'une confiance absolue, au petit soin pour nous aider et nous accompagner tout au long de notre séjour. La cuisinière du Riad est tout simplement exceptionnelle. Nous nous sommes régalés tous les jours de ces délicieux plats marocains. Pour résumer, le Palais des Sables est l'endroit idéal pour passer des vacances en famille et entre amis, se reposer, déconnecter et savourer.

Nous avons passé en famille des vacances merveilleuses. Comment en parler ? Nous pourrions répondre comme nos petits-enfants quand nous leur demandions ce qu'ils ont préféré : TOUT. C'est vrai, nous avons, bien sûr, apprécié le climat de Taroudant. Mais nous avons surtout aimé l'ambiance de votre Palais. Nous étions 16, mais pas les uns sur les autres. Nous avons profité des différentes ambiances que vous avez créées. Nous pensons avoir beaucoup de points communs avec vous : la qualité de votre accueil, les couleurs, la décoration (Blanche partage vos goûts), les livres (qui parlent de vous) et bien sûr le choix du personnel avec qui nous avons eu un contact privilégié. C'est avec émotion que nous avons quitté votre Palais hier après-midi, et c'est avec émotion que nous en partageons les souvenirs savoureux. C'est sûr, nous avons l'intention de revenir. Et la lumière fut...

Le lieu est magique. On y retrouve toute la douceur du Maroc avec un service de rêve. Des gens aux petits soins, prêts à se couper en quatre , sicen'est en 8 pour vous faire plaisir. Tant moi que les enfants avons apprécié et last but Not least le Wifi fonctionne bien.

Magic stay at Le Palais des Sables

We had the most fantastic stay at Le Palais des Sables. Great value experience with regenerating sun in the middle of the Winter. Taroudant is magical places where you appreciate the gentle pleasures of life, different and way more relaxing than trendy Marrakech. The Palais des Sables is perfect for families. You can enjoy the heated swimming pool most of the day (incredible in December) and at night you can just chill out by the fireplace. Sunsets on the snow-capped peaks of the Atlas Mountains with the city walls as the background are special. The staff is wonderful and the food fantastic, making the most of the local delicacies (We had the best couscous ever ). Make sure you pay a visit to the local Souk for spices and carpets.

Magique !

Nous avions décidé de nous offrir quelques jours de soleil en famille avant d'attaquer l'hiver, le Maroc nous semblait la destination idéale. Nous n'étions jamais allés à Taroudant. Quelle bonne surprise de découvrir cette ville tellement authentique, et juste derrière ses remparts ce palais qui était au delà de nos espérances, un véritable havre de paix, de plaisirs simples, et de détente ! Un personnel avenant, souriant, à l'écoute et en même temps discret, une cuisine simple et raffinée. Tous les ingrédients sont réunis pour un séjour de rêve... On se promet d'y revenir.
