"Very clean, polite staff, slightly tricky getting in and out if you are on foot"

"Quest 256 is located very nicely in central Wellington. The main retail shopping area is literally on the doorstep and it's only a short walk to the waterfront with all of its bars and restaurants. The room itself was ideal and there was laundry facilities (and sachets of detergent) provided in the room. First time we've stayed in a Quest property and would highly recommend. They're certainly on our list for future short breaks and holidays."

"The room, while a little dated, was very clean and comfortable. It had the amenities we were looking for and was within walking distance of the cable car, Te Papa, Cuba street and the Oriental bay areas. In addition, our arrival was delayed until about 10 pm, 2 hours past the time the reception desk is staffed. Within minutes of me informing them by phone that we would be late they sent me the information for late check-in which was a very easy process and did not delay us reaching our room."

"Room had no windows, it should have been in the description when booking the room. When it says it has blackout curtains you would also assume it had a window. Super disappointed"

"Good central position, nice and quiet rooms, comfortable bed just let down slightly by the staff. We hung both towels up for reuse but they took them anyway and only left one, asked early evening for a second towel but it didn’t turn up until the next morning. Breakfast was nice they don’t clear used plates etc away until your table is covered, not what I’d expect from a 5star hotel. "
