It is close to shops, pub and beach with free use of surf equipment. What I didn't like is the lecture of all the rules, the problem their smoke alarms have that can go off with steam from shower and you must pay $1500 Fire Service call out. Strict rules with no glass bottles at all on site. Everything closes as 9:30pm. At 9:30pm you have three options after being kicked out of the common area, being 1. Leave the backpackers 2. Go to your room or 3. Hang out in the kitchen on you dorm floor without table and chairs and with balcony doors locked. Even NYE lock up and shut up 9:30pm.
The weather was cold and wet so was the room.....the sheets were so damp I couldn’t use them. I didn’t have anywhere else to stay so put up with it for the two nights I was there . People were friendly. I expected the young people to make some noise but they weren’t a problem.

The place was nice and had a pool, good sitting area and a PlayStation 3 which was fun. The kitchens were alright and did the job but the bathrooms were really gross. Alright overall, cheapest place in Mooloolaba and relatively close to the beach. I saw a family staying there and felt bad for them.
Good place to stay apart from the hot uncomfortable bed with no aircon , to hot to sleep , messy common room and bathrooms need some work , good people thought made the stay more tolerable
