"The hotel was clean and in a great location for anything you're doing downtown. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. My only real complaint was that the thermostat said it was set to 20 C for my comfort, but my room was definitely at 23 C and the note beside it said to only adjust it 2 degrees either way. So I set it to 18 C and I don't feel like there was any change in temp, so I had to open the window all night and even then the room was quite hot."

"We had a gold room which was very spacious. The very high cost gave access to the gold lounge for breakfast and evening light refreshments. To our huge surprise it didn’t include wine or beer. A glass of wine cost $26 -the most expensive I have ever experienced. In numerous club room stays in many different countries this would be the least value for money. Even the standard rooms are very highly priced in comparison to other central city hotels."

"We consider that this hotel has the best location. Very close to the park, downtown shops and Chinatown. The pool and sauna area are spectacular. The breakfast was a bit ‘touristy’ quality wise, I’ve had more refined breakfasts at other Westin properties."

"The room has a modern, clean look and was completely quiet at night with good blackout drapes. The amenities were excellent. Kitchenette with large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, well placed outlets with USB-B and USB-C plugs integrated. Nespresso machine and separate kettle for tea. There was a filtered water and ice machine in the hallway. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and the large shower has a place to put your foot when shaving your legs. Nice, large desk and office chair for work area plus a comfortable sofa for sitting. The breakfast, while pretty much the same as every other hotel's free breakfast, is in the beautiful 12th floor restaurant with fantastic views over the Bow River. We will definitely be back. We walked to and from the Jack Singer concert hall for a show (about 25 minutes one way) and also enjoyed walking to the Kensington area across the bridge. We didn't need our car at all after checking in, although the valet parking ($30) does allow in/out privileges."
