Lesley is such a gracious host, providing scrumptious breakfast and so thoughtfully accommodating gluten-free options. Lovely heritage home in a quiet setting, it provided great accommodations and we met lovely people at breakfast from various parts of Canada. Knowledgeable, helpful to find activities and dining, and very welcoming. I’d recommend this to everyone, and would love to return!!

Property was amazing. Room was spacious, very comfortable and clean. Leslie was an amazing host. She was knowledgable of the area and gave some very good suggrstions on what to do. Had complementary breakfast which was made fresh when you ordered. Was delucious. Will definatley be recommending the Boarwalk inn.Thank you Leslie for an amazing stay.

We loved our stay at Bordwalk Inn. Lesley, the host welvomed us once we arrived. Our room was super clean, comfortable and everything we needed with extras touches. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious! The location was in walking distance to restaurants and the sea. Tere wasn't anything we didn't like. would strongly recommend. Thank you.

Lesley was a lovely host. The rooms are very nice and spacious. The bathroom is huge with all the amenities. We were only able to try the breakfast 1 of our days, but they put out a delicious offer of breakfast food and pastries. I would recommend again!

The Boardwalk Inn has it all!

The Boardwalk Inn was our home away from home for 6 nights. Lesley made our stay exceptional! Breakfast choices were well thought out and delicious! We enjoyed her infamous waffles, perfectly cooked poached and scrambled eggs and a muesli plate with Greek yogurt, homemade compote and fresh fruit. There were a variety of beverages offered along with muffins and dishes of cut up fresh fruit. Lesley made some excellent suggestions for places to see and things to do — in particular the Highland Storm production. We were within a 10-15 minute walk to most local restaurants. The ice cream parlour up the street is not to be missed! Our room — the king — offered a comfortable nightly sleep. There were robes in the closet with plenty of storage space. We had our personal coffee/tea station in our room and one outside of the room for all guests. We had a shared mini fridge, a plate filled with candy and other sweet treats. It was a sad day when we left and we thank Lesley for welcoming us into her home.

From the moment I arrived at the Boardwalk Inn, I knew I had entered somewhere truly special. This beautifully restored heritage home features five unique rooms, each named after a Prince Edward Island beach. The rooms are spacious and air-conditioned, featuring charming furnishings and comfortable beds. The bathrooms are gleaming! The plush bathrobes are a thoughtful and luxurious touch. The entire inn is immaculate. Lesley and Jason are delightful hosts who thoughtfully provide everything you need for a perfect stay. Each morning, Lesley welcomes you to the dining room with a warm smile. A variety of fresh fruits served in individual bowls, along with pastries, coffee, teas, and juices, await you. The chalkboard menu offers an array of delicious options—eggs prepared to your liking, waffles, homemade granola, and more. If you're lucky, Lesley might even share the secret behind her perfectly poached eggs. Don’t hesitate to book this stunning inn—exceptional and perfect are the only words to describe my seven-night stay. Lesley is an incredibly charming and attentive hostess, truly one of a kind. The Boardwalk Inn offers a rare and unforgettable kind of magic.

We have stayed at AirBnB, Hotels, BnB, throughout Canada and the US and nobody has been able to exceed expectations like Leslie has. She is as good a host as you could ever hope for. The house is outstanding, the comfort and little extras she offers surpass any we’ve ever seen before. If I could give this experience, the Property, the attention to detail, the breakfast to order and the host a perfect score I would but I cannot. I have to give it not less than an exceptional 15/10 egg white thumbs up. I could never thank her enough for hosting us for the five nights, I enjoyed my stay so much I’ve even put ina special request to be adopted. 😂 so I could stay but our ventures are taking is far and wide to other locations as there was no more availability to book two more nights at the Boardwalk Inn. My heart is happy, my tummy satisfied and my humanity is richer for just being there for part of our Maritimes vacation. Should we ever return to PEI, I hope, we would absolutely stay only at the Boardwalk in, in fact I would schedule my vacation around room availability. Breakfast. Order the Naughty waffles, no wait the poached eggs, hold on maybe the scrambled eggs.. oh whatever you order you will love love love it But order the perfectly poached eggs on toast. The waffles are mind blowing. REAL MAPLE SYRUP! She cares for her guests like a mom to her kids. I could go on for another hour but you should get the picture about how great is is

This was the best Inn we have ever stayed in. Lesley is dedicated in making sure you have a wonderful stay. She has thought od so many details, coffee msvhine in the room, rea, cookies, emergency swmewing kit and if course, all the necessary toiletries. Lesley will happily greet you for breakfast in her magnificient dinning room with home cooked muffins and eggs or waffles and fresh fruits. The place is spotless and nicely renovated. I definitely recommend this place.

I was extremely pleased with my stay at The Boardwalk Inn in Summerside, PEI. The beautifully appointed room had all the amenities I needed and felt both comfortable and homey. Lesley was such a gracious hostess, incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The Inn itself is a beautifully preserved Victorian home with so much charm and character. Breakfast was an absolute highlight—Lesley’s care and skill truly shine. Being gluten and dairy intolerant, I often struggle when traveling, but her poached eggs on gluten-free toast were the best I’ve ever had! It was also lovely to sit around the dining table chatting with the other people staying at the Inn over breakfast. The location is perfect as well—just steps from the Summerside Boardwalk and within walking distance of several lovely restaurants. Overall, I highly recommend The Boardwalk Inn to anyone visiting PEI. Between the warm hospitality, the incredible breakfasts, and the charming atmosphere, it’s truly a gem.

We had a delightful experience at the Boardwalk Inn. The host, Lesley, created delicious breakfasts that included pastries, avocado toast, eggs benedict, fresh fruit, and waffles. The property is located in a lovely part of town, perfect for walks. Our room had a very comfortable mattress, large closet, and a large, newly renovated bathroom. Outside, guests can enjoy a lovely yard with chairs and tables. We highly recommend this Inn.

An outstanding place

The B&B is situated in a nice and quiet area just a few minutes walk from Summerside centre. There are parking places next to the house. The building is newly renovated with stylish rooms, big bathrooms and comfy beds. Moreover, it has a wonderful hostess, Lesley who every morning offered a four-course breakfast including, among other things, home made granola, avovado, eggs, waffles, fruit plus croissants, juice, tea and coffee. Everything served with a smile and a large portion of contagious joy. We had two breakfasts at Boardwalk inn and both of them turned into long and inspiring talks with Lesley and our fellow guests.
