Stay in our cozy Maple Syrup Sugarhouse at Butternut Maple Farm

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway at Butternut Maple Farm in the heart of Burton Township right by the Geauga County Fairgrounds University Hospitals Geauga Campus, and just a few miles away from Amish country.

This brand-new smoke-free fully furnished studio apartment is on the top floor of our maple syrup sugarhouse with a gorgeous second floor deck perfect for your morning coffee or to grill out at night.

During sugar season (January through March), come on downstairs for front row seats to watch and/or participate in the making of our award-winning certified organic maple syrup.

This apartment is newly completed with an inviting kitchenette, spacious bathroom, and comfy living room with a large flat screen television.

While visiting, take a walk around our 6.5 acre farm.

Wonderful room, easy check in, pleasent location, easy access to all the attractions nearby. Steps to the 2nd floor are a challenge if you have mobility issues, but they can be done. Overall very nice.

The loft apartment is a comfortable space and the surrounding area beautiful and rural but close to town. The small bottle of maple syrup was a surprise and a bonus. The hosts were nice and check-in a breeze. We would stay there again.

Very nice stay

We enjoyed a quiet stay at Butternut Farm. The property was very clean and well appointed. It had everything we needed for a nice long weekend. Close by to downtown Burton with restaurants and a little shopping, the property is a reasonable drive to Cleveland downtown and other small towns in Ohio. I would recommend this property to any couple who are looking to get away for a little.

Relaxing and memorable

Renee her husband Peiree were so friendly and accommodating. Loves the maple syrup its the best in town and the puppys were the cutest.The loft apartment was very homey and comfy.We will beback soon.

We had a relaxing and amazing stay. The room was immaculate and well appointed! Nice porch for an evening drink and morning coffee! Such a unique place to stay right where Ohio Maple syrup is made. Wonderful place. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay in July so much we came back in Aug. Fantastic place to stay - very clean and customer oriented. There was a power outage due to a storm, but thanks to their generator it did not impact our stay at all. Thanks for sharing your Sugarhouse for a relaxing stay.

A Unique and Memorable Stay!

If you’re looking for a truly unique experience, this is the place to be. The unit itself is spotless and cozy, with a very comfortable bed that made for a great night’s sleep.
