"Property okay- adequate for a short stay. In need of a bit of TLC. Room clean and spacious enough. Tea/coffee and small fridge. Swimming pool onsite which we used a lot due to heat! Also in need of TLC but large enough to cool off and enjoy. Fan only in room. No air conditioning. Staff friendly and helpful. Walkable but not a lot to see- we drove to beach etc. co-op and a couple of choices to eat. Restaurant onsite. Fairly quiet area though near a main lane/road. Plenty of car parking which...

"Lovely stay in this friendly pub. Fantastic breakfast, plenty of choice. Staff were excellent, specially the lovely girl who worked so hard to make sure everything was OK. We were welcomed by the locals and had two days of live music in the garden. Fab weekend."

"The flats are centrally located in Liskeard, easy to find, I found my apartment spotlessly clean on arrival. I would not hesitate to book again."

"Lovely night stop over,the room was clean, comfortable and had everything needed for your stay,although slightly dated it is an old property and the furnishings fitted in with the age of the property. Staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good . Good value for money. Each room is 3 old cells knocked into 1, with the bathroom taking up 1/3 or of the room. The bathroom was really good and enormous. The staff at the hotel were super friendly and helpful. "We had the attic room and it's very spacious. The bedroom has a huge bed that is not too soft and we slept like the dead. Dual aspect with sky lights. Fan and extra soft cuddly blankets if needed. Hairdryer, ironing board, iron and microwave. However, the fridge was the reason I booked. A seating area where you can chill without a TV on and a small book shelf with a wide variety of books. "We arrived at 19.00 to what we discovered were planned loud & disruptive road resurfacing works right outside starting that night for 3 weeks between 19.00-04.00 each weekday. We called the owners who had been aware and had placed a laminate of Council plans in the property info pack. But neither they nor s-y-k-e-s had informed us in advance so that we could either cancel with a refund or request a move to an alternative property which is the customer-oriented way to manage this situation. "We arrived at the hotel late and upon arrival had a sign saying under renovations. No pool/spa/gym/food. Room was ok. However interconnecting door unlocked which puzzled the staff as to why we would want to lock it. 2nd night bar then closed and had to request more milk pots as no laundry service/restock had taken place. Overall disappointed with the stay and feel it should be closed during renovations. The resort could be amazing but needs a lot of repairs. For what was a basic room...

"Lovely hotel. We stayed in a room in the building next to the hotel. Had a lovely evening meal one night. Nice breakfast but the only niggle was that they did run out of a couple of items ar our last breakfast"

"The staff were all incredibly cheery and helpful. The food was excellent (coleslaw to die for!). The local beer, Hicks, was a good temperature. Fantastically cheap breakfast of anything! Dogs welcome in any room. England World Cup game was televised but the supporters were put in a large TV room away from the residents."

"We enjoyed a wonderful stay in the 'Nauti' Shepherd's hut. It was so cosy, warm, clean and immaculately presented. The bed was super comfortable and everything we could have needed was provided. A great location, with a peaceful and relaxing countryside setting. Great communication from the hosts. We will definitely be back in the future. Highly recommended for a cornish get away. "
