"The AC in the conservatory where we held the wedding ceremony and meal was wholly inadequate. It was 27c outside and at least that inside. The main problem was underspecified AC units ( there were only 2 - probably needed 6). There was no roof blinds to shade us from the afternoon sun, so the venue got hotter and hotter. As a result the experience was very uncomfortable - inexcusable really as the Hotel Management must have always know this was a problem in the hot summers from previous years. The hotel did put out 2 domestic fans to help move the air, but with a wedding party of c60, it was about as useful as a chocolate tea pot. On the +ve, the venue was lovely, the grounds immaculate, staff friendly and attentive and the food excellent for what was a mass catering event. However, anything above 24c outside and that conservatory (the main dining / wedding venue) will become unbearably hot."

"The Hotel's location is very good. However, it is busy and can be loud at times. The check-in was a bit hard, as there is not really a front desk, as customers are required to self check in. Was unable to check in early as requested, however, staff locked up our bags. Upon returning twas unable to self checkin in. There is a buzzer, which "may" get staff to come to desk. However, I rang it and end up waiting, for awhile before staff attended. I explained, I was unable to self check in. They still tried to get me to do, until finally, the staff member did it. Overall, the room we had was a good size and was clean and modern. The bathroom was a poor designed, sink and tub. The tub is quiet high and if I was older may not have been able to set up into it. Hallway noise can be quiet loud from doors slamming, so quiet closing doors would have been good."

"Staff were great. All really helpful and accommodating. Thanks for making my stay alright 👍 The hotel itself is very tired inside. Is due a refurb/maintenance. Gym is ok, but some one of the machines is broken, and it wasn’t very clean in there. In the room, I was using ahower in the evening, as barely any water comes out of the shower in the morning for some reason? Food in the brasserie was very nice. 👌"
