"Hilton should be embarrassed to have this hotel as part of their Tapestry Collection. The grounds are filthy and not well maintained. There is bird poop covering the floor of the parking area and trash littered everywhere. Every single surface looks grimy. Same for the elevators and walkways to the rooms (the rooms are accessed via outside “hallways”). Honestly I can’t believe people are comfortable walking barefoot. Same goes for the room. The bathroom is small and there is grime in the corners. The fridge, microwave and safe are exposed instead of being locations in a cabinet. The door jamb to the balcony was filthy as were the doors and balcony floor. The beds seems ok but when everything else is dirty you can’t help but wonder how clean the linens can possibly be. The pool area is fine, but the walkways surrounding it are unpaved and gross mud puddles accumulate each day making it hard to walk. If you must stay at this property, head for the adjoining Double Tree which, telling from the common areas and outdoor landscaping, is far cleaner and more comfortable. Maybe I’m expecting too much for Myrtle Beach but for the cost and the fact that this is a Hilton Tapestry property, Hilton has a ton of work to do to fix the issues at this hotel."

"The bathroom and the floor throughout the room was filthy. There was hair and sand and it was just dirty. Our door keys stopped working 3 different days and we were only there for 4 nights. The room door kept getting stuck and was told they would come fix it, but never did. We would literally had to slam into the door to get it to open or close. The pool was very dirty and not cleaned daily as it should have been. This hotel is very run down, and needs a revamp throughout. The ceiling looked like it was patched many times, and repainted, and just looked like it was going to fall in, in our room. We stayed on the 8th floor.. The only good thing was the view from our room, but we made the best of what we had and had a good small trip."
