The Ellie was the perfect resort for our first time in Myrtle Beach! The property was absolutely perfect. We liked that we were further from the boardwalk. It was quiet and a laidback atmosphere. Enjoyed our stay but hotel is touted as a resort but there was no food service or drinks at the pool. Pool slides only opened on weekends on April breaks. Towels not always available at pool Rooms were spotless and staff was very courteous.

I didn’t like that they didn’t have carpet on the floor because I am disabled. I kept slipping in. I had to get someone to help me in and out of the bed. It was a big inconvenience for me. I didn’t enjoy the trip because of that reason.

Disliked: Staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
No tiki bar, no pull out couch, no access to the beach, under construction, they wouldn't give us a roll away bed, no hot tub, pools close at 8:00!!!!!
