The staff were helpful. They always checked we were ok. They gave us a fruit bowl. That was lovely. Location of property excellent- restaurants, shops etc walking distance to many things. Only down side - located in a shopping centre that is closed and deserted. The external ambience is not appealing.

A wonderful stay at Prima Luce. You are steps away from the old town and all it had to offer, as well as a close bus ride or 30 min walk to the beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Outside the property is run down with lots of graffiti. The room was large and the bathroom was really nice but bedroom carpet was old shag. The front and lobby was closed and had to use the service elevator through the back grimy part of hotel. For the premium price it was not worth it.

Excellent location. Extremely bad smell.

Excellent location in the city. Large room with a comfortable bed at a good price. The hotel is inside an abandoned mall, but that was fine for me and my wife. However, there was an extremely bad smell in the bathroom, likely due to old plumbing, which made it difficult to sleep at night. I would have rated it 4 out of 5 if not for the smell. As it stands, I can only give it a 2.

Incredibly difficult to find the address on GPS, the place was not marked 'Hotel' The hotel is incredibly close on the third floor of a shopping centre, the offer included free parking, it is completely impossible to park here, it is at least 2 km from the possibility to to park the car! No breakfast offer either!! When we arrive, the reception should have cash for the fee, don't remember what they called it, the stay was paid in advance, but they should have the fee in cash!? Do not recommend this place… But the room itself was very good :)

Not a typical hotel

Hotel What an experience! Highlighted pros and cons. The neighbourhood is not like any other - my wife was reluctant to get out of the taxi. Having said, nothing happened to us or any of bringings. This certainly is not a 4-star hotel, may be 2. On the ground floor there is a Shop. First and second floors have closed down shops. Third floor occupies this hotel and reception shared by another hotel which is on other side of the floor. No uniform for reception staff, just in casual clothes. But they were friendly and helpful and helped when asked. There was a fire alarm, by mistake. Still I was allowed to go in lift since stairs are blocked off by tape since you can access the shut down shops. I asked what to do in case of real fire and if ok to take stairs. Was told not to worry, there won’t be any fires! Didn’t get the room as in booking. Very small windows bit high up without being able to see outside, like in a prison. Came in August and the A/C is not enough for room. At 18C displayed but doesn’t work for that temperature. Asked for an extra pillow but didn’t have. But, Hotel is in a very convenient location. Once out, you are in the centre of Split in a minute. We stayed for 4 nights with 2 children and once get used to it, you are OK. Room and bathroom were clean and tidy. But, won’t be staying again, that’s for sure.

Don’t get fooled by outside appearance of the building. Not welcoming. But once you get to the third floor you will be nicely suprised. Rooms are very clean, newly renovated and with taste. Highly recommended

Hotel was great albeit was a little surprised they had no toilets around reception. The location was questionable as the shopping centre is effectively shut and the only operating business is the hotel itself. Entering via a back door also didn’t deliver on that luxury feeling we were expecting. Staff was very friendly and delighted they allowed an early check in

Excellent hotel 50m from Split Old Town

Unique hotel (top floor of a disused shopping centre), in a fantastic location just 50m from Split’s Old Town. Staff were professional and friendly, room was excellent - large with very comfortable bed and big bathroom. A great place to stay for a few days when exploring Split.

!!!!!! This is the WORST hotel that I have ever stayed!!!!!! It even cannot be called as A HOTEL!!!!!! Location: On third floor in the abandoned building as the pictures shows below; Reception: Always nobody there, very small and looks very temporary; We arrived there late night; there is only a bus station out of the building, nobody know there is a hotel inside. We walked around again and again, cannot find the hotle entrance, then we made a call to the hotel and finally found the entrance. When we got inside, the whole building is very darkness inside, the only light is the elevator. Room: The room we booked is city version, but actually we couldn't see anything VERSION; the room view shows as the pictures.

Lovely hotel - highly recommend

The cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. Very fresh and really lovely receptionist. Great location and fantastic price. Highly recommend. The only downside is that the breakfast room is very small (around 6 tables in total) and there is not much selection (mainly cold foods), however as the hotel is so close to restaurants it’s not too much of an issue. If they improved the breakfast this hotel would be perfect.
