First time in Split and was not sure what to expect. Very pleasantly surprised. Obviously coming in January not best time but restaurants were open, promenade lively and locals very friendly. Plan to return when weather warmer and try the beaches.
Walks along the beaches and Bene at sunset where worth the time. Lots of varied live music on the Promenade before Christmas. People everywhere were helpful.
Nice place with lots of history. Just wish the hotel had been more honest and supportive about the parking
November is not a good month to visit islands.
