"I was upgraded to a King Suite, which I really appreciated. The lobby and the front of the hotel were under renovation as of May 2026, but this did not affect my stay at all. Breakfast was served at the Italian restaurant next to the hotel, where I received very pleasant service from the staff. The breakfast voucher noted that gratuity was not included, so I was happy to be able to add a tip using the payment terminal. The only downside I can think of is that the shower faucet in my room was quite tricky to use, and I couldn’t get hot water by turning the handle to “H.” I was advised to turn it the other way, which was “OFF,” and ended up taking a cool shower."

Banff Park Lodge

"The hotel is currently under a major renovation but we had access to all the things we needed, plus a room upgrade. We were there with family en tow, 10 and 12YO boys. We had an adjoining room with 2 bathrooms, 2 beds, a pullout couch and a seating area on the main floor, it gave us space to relax and spread out when we weren’t out doing things in the area. We enjoyed the newly updated Crave restaurant for an easy buffet breakfast on the days we were headed out. The pool and hot tub area was beautiful, like a grotto. We loves the location right on the Bow River and next to the main strip. We had a lovely trip and will stay here again! I want to make this trip in the winter!"

Hotel Canoe and Suites

"A wonderful property, staff, and stay. This hotel has big, spacious rooms, in-room pour-over coffee, tea, and hot chocolate, and a connector between all the buildings to quickly get to the lobby or hot pools. Their hot pools are more well equipped and more relaxing than the hot springs. To top it all off, there is a legitimate coffee shop on site that opens at 6:30am. This place is amazing."

"Hotel was very nice and clean. Whoever cleaned room 108 on Friday May 29 did an excellent job and should get the prize for the nicest smelling hotel room ever (and a raise). Great pool. Excellent food. Very nice Canadian made products în the bathroom. We will definitely come again."
