"Heath Farm is a beautiful spot in the heart of the Cotswolds, approximately 6miles from Chipping-Norton. My wife and I were greeted by Brian who helped us with our luggage from the car park to Hazel-Nut cottage. Being the wrong side of seventy was very much appreciated. Brian gave us a very comprehensive brief of the layout and amenities, also a very detailed joining folder which we used considerably very useful for our successful stay at the cottage. "Old Hall was a beautiful building from the outside, gardens and paths could have been a little more tidy with a bit more TLC. Our room was spacious but dreadfully dirty with Cobwebs on the ceiling, lots of dust on the skirting boards. Pillow case was dreadful with horrible black marks on which was replaced on request but housekeeping should have seen this for sure. Bath / Shower very dated with rusty mechanism for the plug/water system. Protective cover on water pressure tap came off in my hand...
