"Hotel was ok and breakfast basic. Beds comfy but soundproofing between rooms very poor. Speaking to another guest who had very noisy Air con in their room. Front of house staff terrible about sorting his issues due to no continuity of staff doing shifts. All in all my stay was ok but staff very poorly trained, but that's what you tend to see in the low paid service sector in some hotels (not all). Coming back to York in a month and won't be using this hotel again."

Sink and refrigerator were nice. 2 free water bottles. 10-15 minutes from city center. The room in the loft was not good at all. The ceiling on some parts were so short so I hit my head twice.
