"8 days in the keys, 4 in Marathon and 4 in Key Largo. We started here and absolutely loved it. Front desk was polite and helpful, property/grounds were very well maintained, and we enjoyed walking directly out onto the beach from our room. The food services were a little slow, but the staff was great. (Not their fault, needed to add more staff during dinner service). Hammocks on the beach were a great touch. We left here after a few days and came up to Bakers Cay. If I could get my $ back and get back down to Isla Bella I would! Honestly confused by those who rated their stay here low."

"So the check in was rough. Key pad was dead. But thankfully there was a key on site. Pool was awful the entire time. Dirty and hardly filtered and had debris there whole time . Then was not aware of the house being for sale . Had to leave because aof a smoke detector inspection, had to leave property. Then had to leave property in middle of the day for a showing and had to take all of our valuables out . Just wish we would have known."

"We absolutely loved this house and location. We had six friends that stayed here and it was all we hoped for. Short drive to Key West and close to grocery stores for food. The pool was excellent as we stayed on some of the hottest days in the summer. We only have one suggestion (not a negative by any means) put the TV (the one out on the patio) to face the pool so you could watch it from sitting in the pool. Or somehow put it on a swivel. We had some friends visit as you can see in the pics but the little lizard was a constant and we loved him. For all future renters- his name is now Winston!! All in all everything was wonderful and super easy to deal with."

"The house inside looks just like the pictures and is very nice. The host was responsive and accommodating. There was a charcoal grill at the property, but I was the only person in our group who knew how to use it. After I mentioned this to the host, he had a gas grill delivered the next day.The location is excellent; just a five-minute walk from Sombrero Beach and less than five minutes from the ocean by boat. We brought our 23-foot center-console boat. Once the host moved his boat forward, ours fit in the remaining dock space, although it was very tight. The neighbors are very particular about boats extending beyond the property line, so I would not recommend bringing a boat longer than 23 feet.One thing for boaters to keep in mind is that the canal connecting the property to the ocean can become extremely shallow. We stayed during an almost-full moon, and at low tide the water was less than one foot deep in some areas. We spoke with several other boaters staying along the canal, and they had experienced the same conditions. You need to plan carefully and watch the tides to avoid running aground.Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend the property."

"Great location, plenty of room, and xtra beds if needed. Would have liked the trees to be a little lower at the canal so could see out. Has every cooking utensil you could need Could use a few more kitchen towels , bring your own if needed. There are 2 that we found but such a big house and cooking need few more. Chiller on pool was amazing! Thank you. Would definitely rent again."
