The town offers many great boutiques and antique stores.The cottage is a block from famous homes featured in the movies, Hope Floats and The Tree of Life. You can see the Hope Floats house from the porch! Come unwind and enjoy the small town life!

Wonderful place to stay.

We wanted to get away for a last minute weekend before school started up again. This was a great little place for my wife and two kids age 8 and 6. We have never spent time in Smithville but we are so glad we did. We will be back not only to Smithville but to this little cottage.

This cottage is in a great location in the historic part of Smithville, in a beautiful neighborhood. It has easy access to downtown. It feels secluded and has a well kept pool right out the front door. It was very clean. We appreciated the professionalism and kindness of the owners. We will definitely plan to stay here again!

Perfect anniversary weekend!

The cottage was just adorable with everything we could need or want. It was so well stocked and everything tucked away. Beautiful neighborhood. It was amazing to swim in the morning and watch the hummingbirds get their breakfast from the amazing native landscaping and flowers. We loved it and would highly recommend to couples!

Great weekend getaway

My 82-year-old mother, my aunt, and I stayed the weekend at this house. It had everything we needed! The only drawback is that my mom could have used some handrails in the bathroom. The house is located in a very quiet and historic neighborhood. The property manager was extremely helpful and answered all my questions. We highly recommend staying there.
