"My friend and I stayed for three nights. We loved the location. We used the swimming pool and each had a treatment provided by the Spa. The food was lovely. The staff were friendly and accommodating. A great atmosphere. The weather was really good, so we enjoyed relaxing in the garden. It was definitely good value for money. Would 100% stay again."

"Advertised as an apartment with breakfast included. But in reality is a chalet bedroom and ensuite. Breakfast was 2 mini yogurts in the fridge, a couple of tiny croissants and cereals. Beverages are DIY. Check in is via a member of staff behind the bar in the pub. Unresponsive to phone calls with the number provided prior to the stay where I attempted to know if there was possibility of an earlier check-in but since not being able to get through I had to check-in at the standard 3pm. Interior of the chalet a bit dated."

"Good parking facilities. Hotel is right in town which is a real bonus. Staff were helpful and friendly. We did not have breakfast at the hotel so cannot comment on that. We went instead to a very charming cafe just for a change. Unfortunately the down side of the hotel are the rooms. We had a twin room, nice view and large. However the decor was very tired and frankly grubby. The bathroom was ok but if you tried turning round in the bath whilst having a shower you could, and I did, crack your head on the lowered ceiling which was half way across the bathroom. Hard to explain but was very unpleasant. It really should be completely renovated. Maybe this was only in our room. Who knows."

"Beautiful property, everything you need and a lovely welcome pack. When we arrived the weather was awful but the oast was warm and inviting. Garden needed a cut back to make the most of the lovely view and the garden pond. Plenty of wildlife to see when on the patio in the evening. Lots of different levels internally making many sets of wooden stairs a consideration for older guests. The long rather lumpy drive to the house needed gentle negotiation."

"A lovely place to stay and very well equipped with all you need for a comfortable stay- a home from home. The Oast is in a quaint and quiet village and is very picturesque. We were a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 kids plus a dog, and we enjoyed local walks and ahort drives away to neighbouring towns, villages and the coast. "
