Very good for the price. Roomy 2 bedrooms. Small kitchen and living area. Was perfect for our stay. Was clean and had everything we needed. Air conditioner was not good. Would not want to stay here on a hot day.

Rooms are updsted in furniture but not things like bathroom etc. Property has so much room and potential so I hope they are planning to do some upgrading on the landscaping and pool. Beds were very comfortable so that was great. Will stay again!

It has an inclosed bbq area in the back of the hotel, with 2 bbq's a small fridge as well as a fire pit with the wood supplied, all bottom units are kitchenettes, its close to everything, rooms are very clean, they go above and beyond to clean it updated an very clean, the young gentleman who checked us in was very friendly and went out of his way to make sure all guests had towels etc, he was there alone and multitasked so well, we will definitely stay here again.

We chose this hotel due to its proximity to multiple gold panning reserves, and were glad we did. I found the Skimmerhorn to be your classic roadside Inn. We were surprised at the available amenities, like a bbq pit, horse shoe pit as well as a playground; we didn't utilize them but were glad to have the option. Check in was quick and friendly. The room (1 bedroom, 2nd level) was clean and stocked with what one person might need for a night or two. While not as comfy as our own, the bed was suitable for a good night's rest. Overall, would stay again, and definitely hope to.
