I thought it was very comfortable. I am sorry to se so much plastic & disposables at breakfast in a country which is working so hard at minimal waste. The staff are so noisy early in the morning. Woke me up at 5am shouting & laughing

Climate control in my room was deficient. I could get an even temperature. It was either really hot or blowing really cold air. The bed was some type of foam and it was overly uncomfortable. Wi-fi in room was horrendous.

The Far North

The cleaning personnel forgot one day to clean the room I occupied plus 3 others that my cousins were staying in. When reported to the front desk, I was told that they had new cleaning staff. Obviously not properly trained. The continental breakfast had a good selection.

Travelled to Sioux Lookout and stayed at the Beat Western. The hotel is clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and comfortable, and I was not disturbed by any noise. Although simple, the free breakfast was good, with a view over Pelican Lake. Overall, the only place I would stay in Sioux Lookout.

Everybody was friendly and helpful when needed besides one of the night shift workers was kind of rude. Only thing I disliked was the room tv, it worked but the screen wouldn’t change or the remotes wouldn’t work.

We stayed here before, the breakfast was good a while ago but not so much now. It’s really gone down hill. I found hair in the bath tub still and the pillows are too fluffy and soft, they flatten quite quickly. The pool temperature is nice. No sauna or hot tub though. It’s too bad it’s not as good as it once was, in a bit disappointed and as a family we will reconsider where we stay when in Sioux Lookout. Why advertise for a breakfast if it’s not good? Also, you don’t get many channels on their tv.

We’ve stayed here a couple times before! It’s a perfect location for us on our way to go fishing and the front desk staff are always very personable! Very nice place!

Clean spacious basic room. Desk clerk inform us we paid more then needed when booking through Expedia. I have no idea why they did that. Did not leave us with a good feeling.

1. Room was cold and tried to heat it for comfort. 2. Pool was closed second day of stay, very disappointing as our child was sad he couldnt swim before checkout. 3. Breakfast room was only open until 930am on a holiday. We went to the eating area at 940 am and it was closed. We asked them to open it as we had a child with us. They opened the breakfast room.

Nice clean hotel

We stayed here for work and it was really nice and welcoming. They have a massive fitness facility compared to most other mainstream hotels. Pool area was a little crowded so I didn’t use it. Overall great experience

Best Western Sioux Lookout

Sioux Lookout is a remarkably beautiful part of Ontario Canada. Although the town lacks an abundance of local attractions beyond the great outdoors, there are a few gems scattered throughout the area. Best Western is one of them. I believe it has the only public accessible swimming pool in all of Sioux Lookout. The fitness center is adequately stocked with equipment. I really appreciated the very helpful front desk employee who actually let me use her personal snow scrapper to de-ice my rental car windshield. I call that above and beyond service. All of the staff were very friendly went out of their way to accommodate my stay. highly recommended.

Nice hotel, friendly staff

Had to book a last minute stay here as we were stranded. Staff was very friendly and helpful, upgraded us to a larger room. Breakfast included was nice. Rooms were spacious and clean. All around enjoyable stay. Would definitely recommend staying here.
