"Room was clean and comfortable, although there was nowhere to hang coats/clothes (there was no hanging rail). The pedestrian route to the restaurant was a bit dark in places. Generally a good overall stay."

"Need some refund of our bill as we had no lights in room"

"جميل❤️"

"Very pleasant stay! Weather was glorious so we managed to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine! Bedrooms were modern and clean. Helpful staff. Delicious breakfast."

"Used as an overnight stop on our way south, location is good, a few minutes from the M1, Reception staff were very good, bed was very comfortable, only down side was the shower was in need of a deep clean, dirty grouting and rust stains. Breakfast was serve yourself, plenty full but not very hot."

"No lift to suites. (3 floors) honestly I was disappointed for the money spend. Chips off the sink in the Hellaby suite and lots of small things missing."

"I was very disappointed with my stay, particularly with the cleanliness and poor customer service. The sink was plugged shut, and we couldn’t remove the plug. The water contained hair, making it seem as though the sink had not been properly cleaned. When we asked the receptionist for help, they were dismissive and immediately said they couldn’t offer another room. They only came to help after we asked several times. The bigger issue was the extremely loud, squeaky floor above us after 1 am....

"Great stay, friendly and helpful staff, would definitely stay again and would highly recommend"

"Cute lodge with friendly staff! Short walk to Sherwood Forest."

"Perfect new hotel. Excellent check in. All staff were super friendly."

"This is a scruffy hotel with dirty rooms. I would not stay here again."

"Hotel was ok, on site pub was poor"

"From start to finish it was a delightful stay, it had a lot of charm and we loved the chickens and goats the breakfast was great with all that you needed and more, the host was lovely and we enjoyed our stay, l will recommend this place to everyone at your club and we will return in the future. Thanks Nigel & Kim"

"Great hotel will stay there again for races however I would advise we did have 3 rooms and all 3 were cold even with heating turned up full blast need to sort in these colder months"

"Great location, bar and restaurant staff were friendly, bar and restaurant area was decorated fabulously for Halloween. The room unfortunately had a lingering smell from what I believe were the drains in the bathroom. Check in was not particularly warm or welcoming. Room decor feels out of place with the history of the building."
