"This is an outstanding hotel and not the pub B&B we were expecting. I’ve stayed in several hotels in Oxford and this is by far the best. The staff are all charming and helpful. We were greeted warmly at check-in, and when it was evident we had a lot of luggage, we were immediately upgraded to a family room, which gave us a lot of much appreciated space. The room looked recently renovated and was beautifully decorated with nice amenities, like a good workspace and a Nespresso machine. Comfortable...

"A typical English country pub with a friendly aura, professional staff, spotlessly clean and a good array of beers. We stayed one night, the room was on the smaller size but well equipped. Being a pub bed and breakfast you have to accept noise to eleven but thereafter it was so peaceful until morning chorus. The full English breakfast was delicious and the fish and chips the previous night was also of a high standard. Recommendable."
