"Strong smell of mold in the reception area, really put me off. Not something I would expect from a hotel charging more than 20,000yen for a small single room. Check in staff unfriendly and unwelcoming as well. Very disappointing given the positive experiences I’ve had at other MyStays hotels across Japan."

"Basics rooms are good size for a hotel in Japan. Spacious & clean but furniture is "basic" as is the toilet. Plus point is hotel is a 10 minutes walk to Hakata Station"

"古い老舗のホテルで経年劣化やアップデートされてない場所も見受けられましたが、全体的にはやはり格式のあるホテルで、スタッフの方の対応など融通を効かせていただき助かりました。長時間飛行機で移動した後の宿泊でしたので静かな部屋でゆっくり熟睡できました。"

"The room is clean , staff is very helpful and nice. The location is good . Just a min walk to canal city and subway just right on the corner"

"Recently stayed 2 nights at the Miyako. Check in and check out was pleasant and efficient. Our room was fantastic corner room. Bedding and pillows all good and shower was great. Over the road from Hakata station is an ideal location, and I won’t forget the amazing staff at the Starbucks next door. One of the friendliest I’ve been too. This was my 3td stay here and hopefully not my last."

"Convenient location clean room"

"新しくてとても綺麗なホテルでした。海も見えて部屋からの眺めがとても良かったです。ただ、鏡が少なくて不便でした。"

"一張雙人床房size 太細，行李箱也開不到。"

"The hotel is good for solo travelers. Nothing special. Beds are extra firm which is great for me."

"Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und regional. Die Lage ist top. Das Klo macht nachts leider Geräusche."

"Front receptionists were very helpful."

"Our room was very small but it’s standard in Japan. Overall the experience was nice as the location was also really nice"
