"The property is in good condition. The room was good, big enough. The location is excellent. They helped set up our tours and we had an excellent time. Everything is super close. Their dock is nice and relaxing. We were able to get some beautiful sunset pictures. The breakfast was very good! We would definitely recommend it!"

"Brilliant hotel in a great beach-front location. The room was very large and the bed was very comfortable. The shower was very good. The staff were all very nice and extremely helpful, particularly Leo who was regularly ensuring that we were happy with everything. "You go here for the location. Communal areas. Rooms are basic but clean. Staff were welcoming and obliging but I found I had to ask for info sometimes that I would expect to have been told on check in. Food was fine. Nothing remarkable but good. The one thing I didn’t enjoy was the noise because there is no glass at the windows. This meant I was woken up by nearby families banging around or cleaning staff. Also the resort was a bit too family-facing for my preference. However it was easy to get a river taxi for all the tours from the village or directly from the Lodge for the tours Mawamba run themselves."
