This is a classic stay at a hotel that feels like a bed and breakfast. Great for a romantic get away and close enough to downtown to walk to everything. The staff was great and the area is so cool for getting to know this little corner of the Bay Area.

Location was fantastic. Everyone we talked with that worked there were more than helpful and really nice. Hotel is cute but our room (208) was a little small and the view wasn't as good as I was expecting. Get there early if you want to be sure to get a parking spot.

It was so quiet (except for the pre-7am cleaning start right outside my door), clean and pleasant. I absolutely loved it and will recommend it and hope to visit again sometime!

Our room was charming - with an outdoor table to sit and watch sunset. In the room there was a good selection of coffees w/a keurig and the bed/linen/decor etc was modern and clean. The location was key - right in the heart of it all near the bay and fantastic restaurants. The world cup was in play and we had our choice of venues to sit and enjoy the camaraderie with the locals. In the morning the Sausalito Bakery was a local hangout with great coffee. Our final destination was Muir Woods - about a 20 minute drive - and staying at the Gables Inn was such a peaceful layover.
